A delightful fruity treat, simple and unique, made with flattened sandwich bread, tender apples, and a decadent hint of blackberries. This quick recipe results in a dessert that is soft inside with crispy edges and beautifully aromatic.

Ingredients

– Sandwich Bread: 3 slices
– Butter: 25 grams
– Blackberry Syrup: 20 ml
– Apples: 2 each
– Blackberry Jam: 2 tablespoons
– Sugar: 1 tablespoon
– Sour Cream: 2 teaspoons

Preparation

Total Time: 45 minutes

– Cook Time: 35 minutes

1. Prepare the Bread

Flatten the bread slices with a rolling pin without completely crushing them, then cut each slice in half.

2. Butter and Fill

Lightly butter each half-slice and spread a thin layer of blackberry jam on the inside surface.

3. Prepare the Molds

Butter the inside of two metal rings and place a half-slice of bread vertically against the inner edges.

4. Add the Apples

Thinly slice the apples and arrange the slices upright against the bread (the jam will help them stick). Continue layering bread and apples towards the center, using three half-slices of bread per ring.

5. Add the Sweet Touch

Place a dollop of butter on top and sprinkle lightly with sugar.
