Quick and Easy Air Fryer Samosas

These golden and crispy air fryer samosas can be ready in just a few minutes. They are simple and quick to prepare, filled here with meat, but you can easily switch the filling to vegetables or cheese to suit your tastes. Enjoy them hot as an appetizer, a starter, or a light meal, paired with a fresh green salad.

Ingredients

For 4 servings:

– 12 brick pastry sheets
– 200 g ground beef
– 1 onion
– 1 clove garlic
– 1 teaspoon curry powder
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 12 sprigs cilantro (coriander)
– 2 pinches salt
– 2 pinches pepper

Preparation

Total Time: 25 minutes

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Preparing the Filling

1. Mince the garlic and onion and sauté them in a skillet with olive oil until they turn translucent.

2. Add the ground beef, curry powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. Cook until the beef is nicely browned.

To finish: Stir in finely chopped cilantro leaves.

Making the Samosas

1. Cut the brick pastry sheets into strips about 7 cm wide.

2. Place a spoonful of the filling at one end of a strip.

To finish: Fold into a triangle by wrapping the pastry over itself until the samosa is securely closed.

Air Fryer Cooking

1. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F) for 3 minutes.

2. Lightly brush or spray the samosas with a bit of olive oil to help them brown.

3. Arrange the samosas in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

4. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes at 180°C (356°F), until golden brown.
