Queen Mathilde of Belgium in 30 Vibrant Royal Outfits
After the customary Christmas reception, Queen Mathilde made a solo appearance to explore the maritime-themed exhibition. She swapped her evening gown for a matching suit designed by Dries Van Noten. Her outfit featured an oversized double-breasted blazer priced at 1395 euros and wide-legged pleated trousers costing 875 euros. The outfit blended shades of blue and burgundy, creating an exceptional jacquard pattern. Her look was completed with black pumps and the “Emmanuelle” clutch from Voort Studio, priced at 1300 euros, adding an elegant touch.
The seventh Queen of the Belgians really went all out with her jewelry choices, stepping away from traditional sparkling pieces in favor of more unique designs. She opted for two coordinated pieces from Giorgio Armani’s Spring-Summer 2020 collection.
A necklace featuring four large discs perfectly complemented the collar of her burgundy top, while oversized earrings framed her neck. These navy-colored jewels cleverly mirrored the jacquard pattern of her outfit, presenting a cohesive and harmonious silhouette.
