On December 16th, the Queen of Belgium was spotted in Nieuport alongside her husband during a visit to the Ter Duinen holiday and convalescence home. She sported the most distinctive of winter coats.

This year, for their annual Christmas visit to support vulnerable communities, the royal couple highlighted the work of Samana. This Flemish organization, celebrating its 40th anniversary, supports individuals with chronic illnesses, their caregivers, and volunteers. During the visit, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde stood out for their warmth and style. Mathilde d’Udekem d’Acoz, in particular, embraced a bold statement piece. She wore a long coat adorned with a busy floral print in shades of blue, white, and pink, combining originality with elegance. This coat added a stylish flair to Mathilde’s outfit, underscoring her well-known fashion sense.
For the rest of her ensemble, the former speech therapist chose wisely with solid-colored pieces to balance out the bold coat. She wore fluid burgundy trousers paired with a matching long-sleeved, turtleneck top.
In terms of accessories, the seventh Queen of the Belgians opted for glossy black pumps and a clutch that complemented her burgundy set.
