But that’s not all; the fifty-something monarch embraced a hot new trend for the fall: the cape! Queen Mathilde wore the “Lexie Cashmere and Wool” cape from her favorite Belgian brand, Natan. Her dress, also from Natan, was the red and white “Valory” print.
She accessorized her look with her beloved Lady Dior mini bag in burgundy and matching heels, which she later swapped for flat shoes from Natan. As for jewelry, Queen Mathilde never leaves home without earrings! This time, she chose stunning dangling pearl earrings.

Interestingly, this was not the first time she wore this outfit! Indeed, Queen Mathilde donned the same look a year earlier, in October 2023, at a state dinner hosted in honor of Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa in Belgium.
