Queen of Belgium’s Winning Fashion Bet: Repeating an Outfit
On July 20th, a concert preluding the National Day was held at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels. King Philippe and his wife, Queen Mathilde of Belgium, graced the event. Queen Mathilde captivated everyone with her enchanting outfit.

Accompanied by Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz, the royal couple made their appearance at this traditional event. As always, Queen Mathilde’s outfit was closely observed. Once again, she did not disappoint! She wore an exquisite powder pink jumpsuit designed by Elie Saab. The standout fashion feature of her ensemble was the cape-shaped sleeves made of silk, giving her a dreamlike silhouette that was absolutely stunning. Large coordinated flowers at the collar completed this fabulous piece from the couture house founded in Lebanon. To round out her evening attire, the Queen opted for Natan pumps and a gold and diamond cuff by Sterlé.
This was not the first occasion Queen Mathilde showcased this outfit. In May, she sported almost the same look during the opening session of the Queen Elisabeth Competition finals. The former speech therapist had chosen the same jumpsuit and pumps for that event.

The mother of four was also holding a lovely bouquet of flowers. The only difference this time: the 52-year-old Belgian opted for her favorite Rolex watch over her bracelet.
Through this repetition of her outfit, Queen Mathilde again proves she is a fan of jumpsuit ensembles, which have become a part of her signature style!
