For 5 servings:

– **Eggs:** 2 whole
– **Egg Yolks:** 2
– **Whole Liquid Cream:** 20 cl
– **Cornstarch:** 10 g
– **Milk:** 25 cl
– **Leeks:** 200 g
– **Bacon:** 200 g
– **Salt and Pepper:** to taste

Preparation

1. Begin by frying the bacon. While the bacon is cooking, clean and slice the leeks into rings. Once the bacon is crispy, remove it from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, sauté the leek slices for about 5 minutes. Set them aside as well.

2. Preheat your oven to 200°C (approximately 392°F). In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole eggs and egg yolks with the milk, cream, and cornstarch. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

3. Stir the cooked bacon and leeks into the egg mixture until well combined. Pour the mixture into a buttered, breadcrumb-lined round baking dish, preferably about 25 cm in diameter.
