Looking for a quick meal idea, a simple appetizer that’s both fast and unique? Try making wraps. Looking for a fresh and tasty meal for the summer? These tuna and avocado wraps combine the nutritional benefits of tuna with the creamy texture of avocado. The cottage cheese adds smoothness, while the shallot and parsley bring a burst of freshness.

Ingredients

For 4 servings:

– 4 wheat tortillas (e.g., Old El Paso)
– 200g drained natural tuna
– 2 avocados
– Juice of 1 lemon
– 1 shallot
– 3 tbsp smooth cottage cheese
– 1 tsp mustard
– 1 tsp chopped parsley
– Optional: a few leaves of lettuce, lamb’s lettuce, or arugula
– Salt
– Pepper

Preparation

1. Peel and finely chop the shallot. In a mixing bowl, combine the tuna with the cottage cheese, mustard, chopped parsley, chopped shallot, salt, and pepper. Optionally, chop the lettuce leaves if you choose to include them in the wraps.

2. Peel the avocados, remove the pits, slice them, and then drizzle with lemon juice.

3. Spread the tuna mixture onto the tortillas, leaving about 1cm from the edges. Lay slices of avocado and optional salad on top; roll up the tortillas, pressing slightly.
