Two-Tone Coconut and Strawberry Panna Cotta

This easy-to-make, smooth, and refreshing dessert is elegantly crafted from coconut milk, strawberry yogurt, and agar-agar. It’s an excellent way to sweetly conclude any meal.

Ingredients

For 2 servings:

Coconut Panna Cotta Layer

– Coconut milk: 10 cl
– Heavy cream: 5 cl
– Vanilla bean: 1/2 pod
– Sugar: 50 g
– Agar-agar: 1/2 teaspoon

Strawberry Panna Cotta Layer

– Strawberry yogurt: 1 piece
– Thick cream: 50 ml
– Sugar: 50 g
– Agar-agar: 1 teaspoon

1. Making the Coconut Panna Cotta

Start by heating the heavy cream, coconut milk, the scraped seeds of the vanilla pod, and sugar in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil, then stir in the agar-agar. Continue stirring for one minute. Pour this mixture into your molds, on top of which you can place some chocolate cereal balls if desired. Allow the mixture to set.

2. Making the Strawberry Panna Cotta

Combine all the ingredients except the agar-agar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then add the agar-agar, stirring continuously for another minute. Gently pour this strawberry mixture over the set coconut layer in the molds, adding a few more chocolate cereal balls for an extra crunch. Wait for the mixture to solidify.

Refrigeration

Once set, unmold and decorate as you like. Keep refrigerated for at least 3 hours before serving. Enjoy your beautifully layered, creamy dessert!
