In July, King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark checked into Graasten Castle, where they enjoyed the traditional changing of the guard ceremony with Prince Gustav, Princess Carina of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, and their children. However, it was Queen Mary’s fashion choice that truly captivated attendees during this family event: clad in a flawless white tennis ensemble, she brought attention back to a historic French brand that had faded from the limelight for years.

Exuding both casual flair and sophistication, Mary of Denmark nailed the sporty chic look effortlessly. The centerpiece of her outfit was a technical t-shirt by Le Coq Sportif, enhanced with contrasting trim at the collar and sleeves, which she smartly tucked into her shorts to accentuate her waist. She paired it with a white Varley pleated skort edged with a black line, and completed the look with spotless Lacoste sneakers. As for accessories, the queen embraced the current trend by sporting a pair of Saint Laurent sunglasses with a very fashionable oval shape.

By choosing this t-shirt, the mother of Christian, Isabella, Vincent, and Josephine shines a spotlight on Le Coq Sportif, the renowned French brand established in 1882 near Troyes. A staple in athletic wear for over 140 years, this tricolor label has outfitted some of the greatest legends in sports before becoming a key player in streetwear.
