Thank You Marylou heads to Kentucky Oaks: Thank You Marylou is a three-year-old filly and contender in this year’s Kentucky Oaks at Churchill Downs on May 2, 2014. Thank You Marylou was foaled on January 26th, 2011 by sire Birdstone and Dam Menifeeque and bred by Mr. and Mrs. C.W. McNeely III. Thank You Marylou comes from a good pedigree as Birdstone won the 2004 Belmont Stakes. Thank You Marylou will team up with jockey Julien R. Leparoux for the 2014 Kentucky Oaks and the filly is trained by Michael J. Maker. Maker was an assistant for Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas and has trained award winning horses including Hansen, and Eclipse Award Winner and Derby Kitten and Stately Victor. Thank You Marylou is owned by Ramsey, Kenneth L. and Sara K.
