After Aurelia’s Belle and Room Service exited the Churchill Downs track trainer Wayne Catalano reported, “They both went around twice and two-minute licked the last mile.”

Kentucky Oaks contender Aurelia’s Belle is a graded stakes winner and has placed in multiple graded stakes and hold 64 points on the Oaks leader board. Aurelia’s Belle has raced around one race a month this year. Starting with the grade 2 Forward Gal Stakes at Gulfstream Park on January 25th of this year, Aurelia’s Belle competed in the 7 furlong distance race and came in second place. On February 22nd of this year, Aurelia’s Belle competed in the grade 2 Davona Dale at Gulfstream Park for a distance of 1 1/6 miles and Aurelia’s Belle came in third place. On March 22nd of this year Aurelia’s Belle ran in the grade 3 one-mile distance Bourbonette Oaks at Turfway Park and finished first.

Keeneland Sales graduate Aurelia’s Belle was foaled on February 26, 2011 and is a daughter of Lemon Drop Kid and Aurelia. Aurelia’s Belle’s breeder is Alexander, Groves, and Matz. Aurelia’s Belle is ridden by jockey Channing Hill and trained by Wayne M. Catalano and owned by James F. Miller.
