As the holiday season draws near, here’s my delightful recipe for Christmas cookies. These treats are both crispy and tender, perfect for bringing a bit of warmth to the festive season. They are simple to make and will delight both kids and adults with their delightful texture. You only need a few basic ingredients to create these cookies which can be cut into festive shapes or beautifully packaged as gifts.
Ingredients
For 10 people:
– Flour: 200g
– Butter: 100g
– Baking powder: 1 pinch
– Sugar: 100g
– Water: 10ml
Preparation
1. Preheat your oven to 340°F (170°C).
2. Pour the flour into a mixing bowl, add a pinch of baking powder, and combine.
3. Cut the butter into small cubes, add it along with the sugar to the bowl, and mix with your fingertips.
4. Add water and mix again until you can form the dough into a ball.
To Finish
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin to form a large rectangle, then use cookie cutters to cut out small shapes.
Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake for about 15 minutes.
