It went unnoticed! Yet, this unexpected accessory unveiled at New York Fashion Week made everyone feel a wave of nostalgia.
An Overlooked Gem at New York Fashion Week
Who really kept up with what went down at this year’s Fashion Week? New York’s edition was somewhat overshadowed by events such as the Emmy Awards and Margot Robbie’s eye-catching appearances at the premieres of “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.” Over in London, it was Demna’s new collection for Gucci, showcased on the Italian house’s Instagram, that captured all the attention!
That’s why this surprising accessory almost slipped through unnoticed. Despite its lack of media buzz, it’s quite the nostalgic shocker! It takes us back to our childhood days of waiting for the afternoon snack time at school—elementary, middle, and high school. Plus, it’s surprisingly stylish.
This item is the result of a collaboration between American designer Christian Siriano and… Capri-Sun! Yes, the beloved fruity drink brand from our childhood teamed up with the designer to create a truly unique accessory: a purse modeled after its iconic fruit juice pouch.
A Nostalgic and Stylish Accessory
The purse, featuring a metallic finish with a zipper shaped like a straw, clearly mimics the Capri-Sun pouch. Naturally, it includes the brand’s signature packaging colors in the chain straps and fruit-shaped charms attached to the bag.

The bag made its debut on the runway at Christian Siriano’s show during New York Fashion Week on September 12 and has been available since September 15, but only as a limited edition!
This collaboration serves as a whimsical reminder of the playful and often unexpected intersections between fashion and our everyday lives. While it might not have garnered the widespread attention it deserved, it certainly left those who noticed it feeling a delightful mix of surprise and warm nostalgia.
