Weekend Recap; Real Solutions Heads to BC13

Real Solutions wins the 2013 Arlington Million and heads to the Breeders’ Cup!
Ken & Sarah Ramsey won three Grade 1 races today, Saturday, August 17, 2013. Their four-year-old colt Real Solution and jockey Alan Garcia won the 1 1/4 mile turf Arlington Million (see replay below) at Arlington Park, five-year-old Big Blue Kitten and jockey Joe Bravo won the 1 1/2 mile turf Sword Dancer at Saratoga Race Course, and jockey Rosie Napravnik led three-year-old colt Admiral Kitten across the finish line first in the 1 1/4 mile turf Secretariat Stakes at Arlington Park!

All three of the Ramsey’s winners were homebred and sired by Kitten’s Joy. Kitten’s Joy finished 2nd in the 2005 Arlington Million just before retirement.

Ken Ramsey proudly stated, “That was Kitten’s Joy’s last race. He hurt his knee and had to be retired. So to have his son come back today and do what he didn’t do is very gratifying.”

After Real Solution won the $1 million 2013 Arlington Million reporters asked if he’ll be attending the 2013 Breeders’ Cup. Ken Ramsey replied, “If the creek don’t rise I’ll be there!”
