– Onions: 2 units
– Smoked sausage: 4 units
– Red cabbage: 600 grams
– Vegetable broth: 1 cube
– Water: 250 ml
– Chestnuts: 315 grams
– Grape seed oil: 2 tablespoons

– Cooking time: 1 hour and 10 minutes
Steps
1. Start with the Base
Slice the onions and cut the sausages into rounds. Heat the oil in a large pot, add the onions and sausages, and sauté for 5 minutes over medium heat.
2. Add the Red Cabbage
Thinly slice the red cabbage into strips and add it to the pot.
3. Mix in the Chestnuts and Broth
Add the drained chestnuts, pour in 250 ml of water, and crumble in the vegetable broth cube.
4. Simmer Gently
Cover and let cook for 45 minutes on low heat.
5. Finish Cooking
Continue cooking for another 20 minutes on low heat to allow the stew to become beautifully tender.
