Craving a Chocolate Marble Cake for Snack Time
I had a bit of orange blossom water left over and thought to add it to my chocolate marble cake. It turned out to be incredibly delicious!
Ingredients
Serves: 6
– Butter: 125 grams
– Sugar: 100 grams
– Eggs: 3
– Milk: 6 tablespoons
– Flour: 200 grams
– Baking Powder: 1 packet
– Cocoa Powder: 25 grams
– Orange Blossom Water: 2 tablespoons
Preparation
Total Time: 50 minutes
– Prep Time: 10 minutes
– Cooking Time: 40 minutes
1. Preparing the Batter
Start by creaming the butter with the sugar. Mix in the egg yolks, milk, flour, and baking powder. Fold in the egg whites beaten to stiff peaks. Next, divide the batter into two equal parts. Flavor one part with the orange blossom water and the other with cocoa powder.
Cooking
Grease and flour a loaf pan. Pour the two batters into the pan in alternating layers. Then, bake in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 40 minutes.
