Iris Mittenaere Reflects on Her Most Memorable Fashion Choices
Who hasn’t looked back at their fashion choices with a hint of regret? We all make mistakes, and that’s perfectly normal. The key is in the learning from them. Even top celebrities have had fashion regrets, including former Miss France, Iris Mittenaere. In an exclusive reveal, she shared with us the one outfit she vows never to wear again!
Iris Mittenaere: A Fashion Journey Worthy of a Miss

Fashion missteps are common, especially considering how quickly trends can change. What was once in vogue can easily be outdated, only to make a surprising comeback years later. This is something Iris Mittenaere knows all too well. “I’ve made choices that didn’t work out fashion-wise. Fashion is a never-ending cycle. There was a time when ballet flats were out, and now I’m wearing them again,” she explained to the Journal des Femmes.
However, there’s definitely one trend that the ex-Miss France wouldn’t touch for a long while, if ever again! It was an item she once thought was “really cool,” but now can’t stand the sight of. “Back in high school, I was really into the skinny jeans trend—violet, neon pink… Galaxy pants with a bit of a tecktonik vibe. I’m definitely not a fan anymore. I might not wear them again anytime soon!” she shared. And we agree!
While leggings are making a comeback, largely for comfort reasons, they are only appearing in black or solid colors. The neon trend of the 2010s is still behind us, and it might be a while before it (possibly) returns.
Could Past Trends Resurface?
As we’ve seen the resurgence of Y2K styles from the early 2000s, who knows if the 2010s trends will make a comeback in the near future? Fashion trends are cyclical, but for now, it might be wise to keep those neon pants tucked away in the closet.
