Chocolate Praline Crisps
Every year for the school’s Christmas market, I recreate this beloved recipe that consistently wins the hearts of both kids and adults alike.
Ingredients
– 10 pralines
– 50 g of mixed dark and milk chocolate
– 200 g of pralinoise
– 85 g of crêpe dentelles
Preparation
1. **Melting the Chocolate**: Begin by gently melting the mixed chocolates and pralinoise over low heat. Stir continuously until the mixture is completely smooth.
2. **Adding Crispiness**: Crumble the crêpe dentelles into the smooth chocolate mixture and stir well to incorporate.
3. **Setting the Mixture**: Pour the mixture into a loaf pan lined with cling film, smoothing out the top. Let it set in the refrigerator for several hours to firm up.
Storage and Unmolding
Remove the praline block from the fridge about half an hour before serving. Unmold and slice into small squares. This ensures the pralines are easy to cut and have a delightful texture, making them perfect for sharing at any festive gathering.
