Dutch Princess Amalia Wows in Recycled French Dress Previously Worn by Sister!

Royal Fashion Repeats: Dutch Heiress Wears Sister’s Dress

On September 24th, Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands was spotted in New York City attending the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. She showcased a perfect autumnal outfit, borrowing fashion pieces from her sisters and her mother.

This was a special occasion as it marked the first time Catharina-Amalia joined Queen Maxima on one of her trips to the United States. The purpose? To allow the Princess of Orange to shadow her mother to better understand her future role as a monarch. At 21 years old, the eldest sibling made sure her fashion choices were on point, opting for simple yet sophisticated outfits. For this particular event, Catharina-Amalia chose a fall-inspired look with dark colors, wearing a deep blue buttoned dress featuring a polo collar, a flared hem, and long puffed sleeves. This “Lison” model by Sandro, a French ready-to-wear brand known for its chic Parisian style, had previously been worn by her younger sister Ariane in April 2022.

Accessorizing in Style

To complete her ensemble, Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands selected accessories in a similar warm camel shade. Notably, she carried a shoulder bag named “The Vancouver” by the British brand DeMellier, and wore high-heeled boots by Gianvito Rossi. This particular pair of boots appears to be a favorite within the Dutch royal family.

Queen Maxima and her daughter Alexia, 20, have both been seen sporting this leather model, which is priced at approximately $1857 (around 1580 euros). It’s clear that the wife of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and their three daughters share a distinct and similar fashion sense!
