King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium, along with their youngest daughter, Princess Éléonore of Belgium, traveled to Milan for the Winter Olympics. The Belgian queen chose a straightforward yet very elegant outfit, giving a nod to France in her fashion choices.
Like Prince Albert II and Charlène of Monaco, who arrived a few days earlier, the Belgian king and queen attended the Milan-Cortina events. To cheer on a Belgian athlete in the speed skating competition, the royal couple opted for more casual attire without sacrificing any elegance. Mathilde selected an ensemble in beige and blue. She wore a turtleneck sweater to combat the chilly Italian weather, paired with a camel jacket from Polo Ralph Lauren. She wore the “Gabrielle” earrings from Sézane, made of gold-plated brass and coffee-colored resin, available for 25 euros. A regular patron of the Paris-based brand founded in 2013, the former speech therapist continues to give it prominent exposure.
