– Apple: 1 whole
– Onion: 1/2 whole
– Shelled hazelnuts: 5 pieces
– Brussels sprouts: 8 pieces
– Grape seed oil: As needed
– Salt: To taste
– Freshly ground pepper: To taste
Preparation
1. Clean the Brussels sprouts by removing the outer leaves if necessary, quartering them, and cutting off the stems. Rinse them under water.
2. Peel and dice the apple. Thinly slice the onion. Set aside.
3. In a pot, bring water to a simmer and add the Brussels sprouts for about 10 minutes. Drain them and set aside.
4. Heat some oil in a wok or skillet. Sauté the onion until it turns golden, then add the apple dices and Brussels sprouts. Continue to sauté for about 4 to 5 minutes.
To Finish
