During a photoshoot for the British edition of Vogue, Princess Beatrice was captured in a sophisticated pose with her second daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose, who was born prematurely. In the photograph, she appears more elegant than ever, wearing a teal blue dress from New Zealand designer Emilia Wickstead. This particular “Elta” model, made of double crepe, features long sleeves, a midi length, and a cross-detail at the waist, retailing for 1,765 euros on the brand’s website.

However, this stunning dress might remind some of an ensemble previously worn by Kate Middleton, as reported by Hello! magazine in an article from March 24, 2025. The Princess of Wales wore the same model, but in a pastel yellow version, to attend the second day of the Platinum Jubilee celebrating 70 years of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign in June 2022.
The two members of the British royal family chose different accessories to complement their dresses. Kate Middleton paired her dress with a wide Philip Treacy hat, suede shoes, and a clutch in a matching yellow shade, while her cousin, the cousin of Princes William and Harry, opted for a more understated look, sporting nothing but the Emilia Wickstead dress.
Whether at royal engagements or horse racing events, the wife of Prince William and the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson are often seen in similar outfits, underscoring their shared taste in fashion.
