What to wear on Super Derby 35 Day…

Just because summer is over and it is officially fall, does not mean that you suddenly have to break out your tweed blazers and knee high leather boots. September is still one of those transition months where the weather is getting cooler but it is still quite warm in many places including Louisiana where the Super Derby is held. However, you do want to look fresh and fashion forward so you will want to wear something different than your favorite summer trends.

One great fall 2014 trend to embrace is bright colors. Bright colors were seen all over the fall runways and it is a great way to embrace a fall trend while going out in warmer weather on race day. Try a bold color in a monochromatic look. Try a standout cobalt dress or a bright red orange dress. If you like separates then you can try a bright yellow skirt. If bright color all over is too much for you then you can try an accent piece like a bright cobalt pointy toe flats. The color and detailing make them just as special as heels. Keep the brightness going in your headwear and try a bright red fascinator.

In bright colors you will stand out at the track and look ready for fall fashion and a day of racing.
