Arlington Million 2014 Odds & Contenders: The 32nd Running of the Arlington Million takes place on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Arlington Park, also called Arlington International Racecourse, in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The G1 $1 Million 1 ¼ mile turf race for three-year-olds and up is part of the Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” Challenge series awarding the winner with an automatic entry into the World Championship of horse racing. The 2014 Arlington Million field currently consists of seven strong contenders, three of which competed in the 2013 edition. Trainer Chad Brown’s Real Solution crossed the Arlington Million finish line second with 10-1 odds but won after first place finisher The Apache was disqualified. Side Glance finished third last year with 12-1 odds and Finnegan’s Wake followed with a fourth place finish at 30-1. All three are back for their shot at winning the 32nd 2014 Arlington Million.
Real Solution, who teamed up with Jockey Alan Garcia last year, gets Javier Castellano for the 2014 Arlington Million. Real Solution finished the 2013 turf race in 2:00.99 and paid fans $18.80 for a win bet.
