Preakness Stakes 2014 Post Positions and Odds

Preakness Stakes 2014 Post Positions and Odds: Post positions for the 139th Running of the Preakness Stakes will be set after racing officials conduct a pill pull, or blind draw, at Pimlico Race Course on Wednesday evening for the Preakness Stakes scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 17, 2014. The middle jewel of the Triple Crown has a 6:20 PM ET approximate post time. The Preakness is limited to fourteen contenders unlike the Kentucky Derby, which holds twenty horses. The 1 3/16 miles dirt race for three-year-olds features California Chrome, winner of the 2014 Kentucky Derby, and most fans are hoping the Ed Sherman trained colt can pull off a Triple Crown win.
