Post Position Draw Breeders’ Cup 2012 Odds
The 2012 Breeders’ Cup World Championship post positions were drawn late this afternoon setting early morning odds for the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic.

The big news of today’s post position draw was that Dullahan was cross-entered in The Breeders’’ Cup Classic and the Breeders’ Cup Turf. Dullahan opted to race on the grass so will be a leading contender in the Breeders’ Cup Turf. Game On Dude is the early favorite for the Classic with 9-5 odds (for my beginners this means you’ll make $5.60 on a $2.00 bet with Game On Dude for the win). Game On Dude has a “home field advantage” at the Santa Anita racetrack. He currently is 5-0. The 5-year-old gelding (again, for my beginners, a gelding is a castrated horse) drew the 5th place post position for the 29th running of the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
