You don’t need fancy expensive jewelry to look like you’ve won big at the Holy Bull Stakes at Gulfstream Park on Saturday, January 25, 2014, just try out the embellished look! The Holy Bull is definitely a stakes race worthy of sparkly embellished fashion since its a Kentucky Derby prep race with eleven dynamic three-year-old colts that will surely work their way down the Derby Trail.

This winter, embellishment is everywhere. So even the most casual items look like a million bucks, with jewels and embellishments sewn right into the garment. It is especially fun to embrace this embellishment on tops where embellishment seems unexpected. For instance, try an embellished sweatshirt like this quirky owl pullover pictured below. Pair it with a pencil skirt to counterbalance the quirkiness of the sweatshirt and give it an elevated sophisticated look.

You could also go for a more dressed up look and choose a dress or top with embellishment at the neckline so it looks like you are wearing a statement necklace, only you won’t even have to fuss with accessories because the jeweled neckline makes enough of an impact.
