Zaho de Sagazan Sticks to Her Roots Despite Rising Fame
Despite her increasing popularity, Zaho de Sagazan has not altered her usual routine, particularly when it comes to her fashion choices. Luxury? It’s not for this singer!
In a recent interview with The Sunday Tribune, Zaho de Sagazan shared insights into her personal style, which steers clear of the glitz and glamour that many celebrities embrace.
Keeping It Simple and Elegant
While her music has garnered much appreciation, Zaho de Sagazan often faces criticism for her minimalist fashion sense. She is frequently seen in simple, solid-colored outfits that are fuss-free yet elegant. Even as her fame grows, she prefers to distance herself from the extravagance of show business. “I have no interest in luxury, high society parties,” she stated. This sentiment extends to her clothing choices, as the singer favors thrift shops and affordable brands over high-end fashion houses. “I shop at Decathlon and Emmaüs,” she confessed.
Rare Forays into the World of Luxury
However, Zaho de Sagazan does occasionally step into the luxury scene, thanks to a particular individual. “I met Nicolas Ghesquière, the creative director of Louis Vuitton, who told me how some of my songs inspired his designs,” she revealed. As a result, the designer dressed her for the opening of the Cannes Festival in 2024 and for the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games.
A Consistent Style at High-Profile Events
The only issue that didn’t sit well with some online followers was that Zaho de Sagazan wore the same black dress to both high-profile events. This did not seem to unsettle the 25-year-old star, who maintains her unique style confidently.
Zaho de Sagazan’s approach to fashion reflects her overall philosophy of staying true to oneself, regardless of fame or public expectations. Her choices highlight a commitment to personal authenticity over conforming to the glamorous expectations often associated with celebrity status.
