On Tuesday morning, reports emerged from two Evansville, Indiana, TV stations indicating that overnight, the remains of two men were discovered in the stable regions of Ellis Park. According to what dispatchers communicated to WFIE-TV and WEHT-TV, they received a call around 1:30 a.m. EDT concerning a man who was unresponsive. Investigations led to the finding of two men’s bodies located in different sections of the stable area.

By Tuesday afternoon, WFIE relayed information from local deputies who indicated that there seemed to be no evidence of foul play linked to the deaths. It was reported that the body of the man initially identified was located in his apartment situated on the backside of the racetrack. It was also found that this man had spent time with another individual the previous evening, who was subsequently discovered deceased in his own apartment as well.

Additional information regarding the incident remains scarce as the investigation continues. “As this is an ongoing investigation, we are not in a position to provide further comments at this time,” stated Kevin Kerstein, a spokesperson for Ellis Park, via a text message on Tuesday morning.
