Spinach and Grisons Bacon Spaghetti (Low GI), a simple recipe to make that comes in handy when you’re out of ideas.
Ingredients
For 1 person:
– Pasta: 100 g
– Frozen spinach (adjustable quantity): 5 blocks
– Bündnerfleisch, thinly sliced (adjustable quantity): 4 slices
– Salt: 3 pinches
– Pepper: 3 pinches
Preparation
1. **Thawing the Spinach**
Place the spinach blocks in a pot and let them melt slowly until they release their water. Season with salt and pepper.
2. **Preparing the Grisons Bacon**
Slice the Bündnerfleisch into thin strips and lightly grill them in a hot pan.
3. **Cooking the Pasta**
Cook the pasta until al dente, drain, and then transfer to a deep plate.
Finishing the Dish
Top the pasta with the spinach and Grisons bacon strips. If desired, you can also stir some cream into the spinach before serving to add a touch of richness.
