Jennifer Embarks on a New Adventure in Fashion, Not Music!
A Fresh Fashion Voyage for France’s Beloved Singer
Jennifer, a household name since her breakout at 19 after winning the first season of Star Academy on January 12, 2002, has been on an impressive musical journey. With each new track, she has secured her status as France’s favorite singer. On November 22, 2024, she plans to release her 10th album titled “Jukebox,” which revisits some of her earliest hits. However, music isn’t the only project she has in store for her fans this year. The former The Voice coach has teamed up with French brand Grain de Malice to create a capsule fashion collection in conjunction with her latest album release!
A New Challenge for the French Songstress
This new endeavor has seen Jennifer deeply involved in every step of the fashion line creation, from designing the pieces to participating in the photo shoot at the iconic Ferber studio in Paris, where she recorded many of her major hits. She shared with Journal des Femmes that creating fashion is akin to songwriting: “When you create a song, it’s like stitching, weaving something together,” she said. “Creating this collection felt like being in my musical element. I didn’t want it to betray my current emotions. I wanted to stay authentic, making clothes I could wear, just as I sing songs that convey my feelings.”
For this new Grain de Malice clothing line, Jennifer drew inspiration from her personal wardrobe and the iconic styles of the 1970s. All her favorite pieces are included, especially the flare pants that enhance her silhouette—a must-have in her fashion arsenal. “I wanted it to be a collection that reflects me, pieces that are timeless and that people will want to keep,” she revealed.
Just in Time for the Holiday Season
Launching just in time for the holiday celebrations, the collection features 15 affordable pieces ranging from €14.99 to €89.99. The lineup includes stylish clothing and accessories with a dash of rock and sparkle, featuring trendy materials like velvet, sequins, and leopard prints. Available now, you can find items such as a black velvet dress (€44.99), a blazer (€49.99), a sequined sweatshirt (€34.99), and a burgundy jumpsuit with a gold chain (€44.99), which is Jennifer’s favorite piece.
As for accessories, the collection offers a beaded bag with golden fringes (€35.99) perfect for New Year’s Eve, and a trendy gold chain belt (€14.99).
Music Meets Fashion
This capsule collection also draws significant inspiration from Jennifer’s new album, “Jukebox.” This is why the collection is paired with a collector’s edition of the album and exclusive booklets showcasing her inspirations. Additionally, fans might find one of ten golden tickets hidden in the collector’s albums, offering a few lucky individuals the chance to meet Jennifer during her upcoming tour!
With this collaboration, Grain de Malice is reinforcing its foothold in the fashion industry. Recall last year, the brand partnered with TV host Faustine Bollaert for a holiday capsule collection, continuing to blend celebrity flair with accessible fashion.
