Simple and Elegant Jellied Egg Recipe
For all jelly lovers, this simple and refined jellied egg recipe is a must-try! Not only is it incredibly easy and quick to prepare, but it also adds a touch of sophistication to your meal.
Ingredients
– 4 eggs
– 1/2 green bell pepper
– 2 slices of ham
– 5 cl of water
– 1 packet of instant jelly powder
Preparation
1. Start by boiling the 4 eggs until they are hard-boiled. Once done, carefully peel them.
2. Prepare the jelly by dissolving 1 packet of instant jelly powder in 5 cl of water.
3. Pour a layer of the prepared jelly into individual ramekins. Add the green bell pepper, previously diced into small pieces. For an added burst of flavor, you can also include small dices of ham, although this is optional. Place the ramekins in the refrigerator to set the jelly slightly.
4. Slice the 2 slices of ham into four equal parts and add two pieces to each ramekin.
5. Place one hard-boiled egg into each ramekin (for a visually appealing presentation, you can slightly cut the egg to expose the yolk). Then, gently pour the remaining liquid jelly over the contents of each ramekin.
To Finish
Allow the jelly to set completely by refrigerating the ramekins for about 2 hours. Once set, unmold the jellied eggs onto a plate and serve chilled.
