Royal Family at the Formula 1 Grand Prix
On August 31, 2025, King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima, and their three daughters gathered to attend the Formula 1 Grand Prix. Among them, Alexia of the Netherlands stood out with her effortlessly chic autumn-ready look. After their traditional vacation in Greece, the Dutch royal family returned to their homeland, attending the event at the Zandvoort circuit. As usual, the family displayed impeccable elegance, but it was Alexia, the younger sister of the throne’s heir, who really shone, known for her sharp fashion sense. The 20-year-old opted for a color palette of beige and brown, perfectly transitioning into the fall season. Her outfit featured three pieces from an exceptional Parisian brand, Sandro: a blazer jacket, a ruched tank top, and a belted jacquard shorts, all from the luxury ready-to-wear label established in 1984, favored by many high-profile figures including Letizia of Spain and Victoria of Sweden.

Accessorizing with Elegance
Alexia’s choice of accessories was also spot-on. Her $1,995 brown suede boots, the “Piper 45” model from Gianvito Rossi—one of her mother’s favorite footwear brands—were a standout. Additionally, her crossbody bag was from DeMellier and her necklace was crafted from 18-carat gold by Rosa de la Cruz London. Her eyewear, unusual color-toned sunglasses, added an original touch to her overall look, making it impossible to overlook.
Princess Alexia had chosen the “Zed” pair from Californian brand Akila for her sunglasses. What made them unique? A tortoise shell frame paired with green tinted lenses. Entering her second year in Civil Engineering at the University of London, the princess made no fashion missteps!
