Royal Confirmation in Denmark
On April 18th, the twin children of King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark celebrated their confirmation. The event marked a significant rite of passage for the young royals, with Princess Josephine of Denmark stealing the show in her dreamlike, pristine dress.
The confirmation took place at the Fredensborg Palace Church, where the royal family and close friends gathered to honor both Vincent and Josephine of Denmark. The twins displayed perfect poise and elegance throughout the ceremony. Vincent opted for a striking blue striped suit, while Josephine chose a spotless white ensemble. Her outfit featured a long-sleeved, square-collared top designed by Copenhagen-based designer Birgit Hallstein, paired with a midi skirt from Zimmermann. This particular skirt, the “Lift Off” model, was crafted from a light blend of linen and silk and was adorned with hundreds of flowers intertwined with shimmering crystals, creating a truly princess-like appearance.

Princess Josephine also meticulously selected her accessories for the day. She wore beige Unisa Ibon pumps with a modest 5 cm heel, crafted from suede to complement her white attire, ensuring her comfort throughout the event. In terms of jewelry, fourth in line to the Danish throne, she opted for precious pearls to enhance her look.
She chose Danish brand Julie Sandlau for her earrings, combining two iconic designs from the designer: the “Edna” ear pendants and the “Eden” studs. Made from 14-carat recycled gold and featuring freshwater pearls, these earrings added a touch of luxury, carrying a price tag of 880 euros. Additionally, a unique Cenius & Bach ring completed her enchanting ensemble. At just fifteen years old, Princess Josephine exuded the grace of a modern-day bride.
