The King and Queen of the Netherlands, as they do annually, attended the National Remembrance Day and the National Liberation Celebration. On May 5th, Maxima stood out with her distinctive style, highlighted by her remarkable accessories.

It’s a tradition: King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima, and the country’s Prime Minister are present at the grand concert that concludes these celebrations, held in front of the Royal Theater Carré in Amsterdam. From their viewing stand along the Amstel River, the royal couple enjoyed the performance and showcased their elegant attire to the admiring crowd. While her husband opted for a traditional navy blue suit, Maxima chose to stand out with grace. She played with shapes by selecting two wide pieces from Natan Couture, one of her favorite designers. She wore a cape-style top in a gentle pink shade and a pair of flowing pants in camel color. Her hazelnut-colored leather pumps, the “Gianvito 105” by Gianvito Rossi, perfectly elongated her figure.
The real showstopper, however, was Maxima’s choice of accessories. Her XXL necklace made up of several strands of large pearls was particularly eye-catching and added a vibrant touch to her plain top. Additionally, her dangling wooden round-shaped earrings beautifully complemented her necklace.

But the fashion element that truly caught our eye was her handbag. The 54-year-old from Argentina selected a piece from Cult Gaia, a brand previously embraced by celebrities like Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Nicky Hilton. The Dutch queen had fallen for the “Eos” model, an acrylic clutch adorned with turtle shell patterned beads. Its price? 315 dollars, or about 268 euros. This extraordinary accessory definitely made a statement!
