- Butter Preparation
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat or in the microwave. Allow it to cool to room temperature while you prepare the other ingredients.
- Mixing Eggs and Sugar
In a mixing bowl, vigorously whisk the whole eggs with granulated sugar and vanilla extract. The mixture should lighten in color and become slightly frothy.
- Adding Flour and Baking Powder
Gently fold in the flour and baking powder into the bowl. Use a wooden spoon to mix until the dry ingredients are well incorporated.
- Incorporating Milk and Butter
Add the milk and then the cooled melted butter to the mixture. Mix gently again until the batter is smooth and uniform.
- Chilling the Batter
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Filling the Molds
Lightly grease the silicone madeleine molds that fit your Airfryer. Distribute the chilled batter into each mold, filling them three-quarters full.
- Baking the Madeleines
Place the molds into the basket of the oil-free fryer. Set the temperature to 180°C (356°F) and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the madeleines are puffed up and golden.
Serving
Remove the molds from the device and wait a few minutes before unmolding the madeleines. Enjoy them warm or at room temperature.
