1. Making the Shortcrust Pastry

Place the flour, butter, powdered sugar, and a pinch of salt in the mixing bowl. Blend for 10 seconds at speed 5. Add the egg and mix again for 10 seconds at speed 4. Form the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic, and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

2. Baking the Pastry

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Roll out the dough and line a tart pan with it, piercing the base with a fork. Bake blind for 15 to 20 minutes until it’s lightly golden. Allow it to cool completely.

3. Preparing the Custard in the Thermomix

Add the milk, flour, eggs, sugar, and vanilla to the bowl. Set the machine for 7 minutes at 175°F (90°C), speed 4. Afterward, blend for 5 seconds at speed 9 to smooth it out. Let it cool slightly before use.

Assembling the Strawberry Tart

Spread the custard over the cooled tart base. Halve the strawberries and arrange them neatly on top. Apply a glaze for extra shine if desired. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
