A Dress Rented Up to 35 Times in a Single Day
The fashion rental scene has not seen the likes of it this year. Coveted for its style and affordability, this dress has made its rounds across thousands of wardrobes. It has graced weddings, parties, vacations, and seasonal attire. The numbers speak volumes: no other item has captivated the fashion crowd in 2025 as much as this one.
As rental platforms reshape our clothing habits, some pieces emerge as outright sensations. On Hurr, a British startup that facilitates the renting of designer garments among users, one dress outshines the rest. This platform reports that the dress was requested over 3,000 times in 2025 alone. Being rented up to 35 times in just one day, it underscores how renting has become a go-to method for assembling a standout outfit without breaking the bank. Its popularity isn’t by chance: the design is versatile for nearly any event, and its fit accommodates a variety of body types. The dress is known as “Havana,” created by the fashion label Gia.
This isn’t a solitary success story: another platform, By Rotation, also notes it as the most frequently rented dress in their collection. The backstory of the design partly explains its triumph. Introduced in 2022, it initially captured attention with a zebra print version that quickly became a favorite among fashion-forward individuals. Soon, other versions were released, including a red floral pattern. New colors and patterns, such as blue denim, polka dots, and even more subdued tones, further broadened its appeal.
Adaptable to Cooler Months
One of the dress’s major advantages is its suitability for cooler weather: with long sleeves and a high collar, it sometimes eliminates the need for an additional jacket, a practical detail that boosts its popularity in the fall.
Stylish and Affordable
Maxi-length, elegant, and instantly recognizable, it ticks all the boxes for navigating the season in style, while remaining affordable for everyone. Rental prices start at 30 euros for four days, and it’s also available for purchase on the Palmos Mode website at a price of 39.95 euros. Definitely a deal worth checking out!
