Belmont Park 2014 TVG Super Saturday Events & Fashion: This coming Saturday, September 27th, 2014 is going to be a big day at Belmont Park. Belmont Park will be hosting six graded stakes races including the Jockey Club Gold Invitational, the Flower Bowl Invitational Stakes, and the Joe Hirsch Classic Invitational. All six races are part of the Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series, with contenders fighting at Belmont Park for a secure seat in the Breeders’ Cup at Santa Anita Park on October, 31-November, 1 2013. This famous NYRA day is known as the TVG Super Saturday at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. The Grade 1 Jockey Gold Cup is the headlining race for one of the biggest days of the Fall Championship Meet. The Jockey Club Invitation carries a $1,000,000 purse, The Flower Bowl Invitational is a GI race with a $600,000 purse, and the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Invitational is a GI race with a $600,000 purse. The combination of all six graded stakes races at Belmont Park on Super Saturday are worth a whopping $3.4 million.

What to do on TVG Super Saturday at Belmont Park…

Along with plenty of exciting racing, Belmont Park will be hosting lots of other festivities and activities to partake in for TVG Super Saturday. Belmont will feature NYC food trucks in the backyard of Belmont Park. Trucks that will be featured are Mac Truck, Pizza On Wheels, Mr. Nice Guy, Andy’s Italian Ices, Gorilla Cheese, Carl’s Steaks, Mike N Willies, Dub Pies, Papaya King, Come N Get it BBQ, Crepe Truck, Hibachi Heaven, Mangia Italiano, and El Paso.

There will also be a Tom Durkin Bobble head Giveaway with paid admission while supplies last on TVG Super Saturday.

Belmont Park will host a Family Fun Day in the Belmont Park backyard and picnic area on TVG Super Saturday as well. There will be karaoke, a petting zoo, face painters, and giant inflatables. There will also be a special themed activity.
