Woodbine Mile 2014 Odds, Events, Fashion: The Ricoh Woodbine Mile is on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, ON Canada. This will be the 18th running of the Ricoh Woodbine Mile and the race is for 3-year-olds and up. It will be held on the famous E.P. Taylor Turf Course for a $1 million dollar purse. The Ricoh Woodbine Mile will award it’s winner with an automatic entry into the 2014 $2 million dollar Breeders’ Cup Turf Mile at Santa Anita Park.

What to do on Woodbine Mile Day…

There will be a big End of Summer Party held at this year’s Woodbine Mile. For all Ontario residents that are enrolled in a post-secondary institution, there is a contest for a $1,000 Bursary, which will be distributed following races 3, 6, 9, and 11. Students may register in the parking lot at Gate 12 of the race track between 12:00 PM-4:00 PM on Sunday. The first bet for students will also be free and students will receive a free pair of sunglasses. Other prizes include $10,000 in instant cash giveaways.

Live Music from the Emerson Street Rhythm Band will also be available for entertainment for everyone from the main stage from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM. There will also be some of Toronto’s best food trucks for patrons to enjoy. For grownups, there will also be Bud Light Girls on the Bud Light Steel Space and you can enter to win prizes at the WEGZ Stadium bar. Radio station Z103.5 will be on the air live and you can join in and socialize with all the fun on twitter with (#WoMile).
