2013 Jim Dandy Stakes Possible Entries

Palace Malice

Palace Malice is pointed towards the Jim Dandy Stakes at Saratoga Race Course on July 27, 2013.

2013 Jim Dandy Stakes Possible Entries: The Jim Dandy Stakes takes place on Saturday July 27, 2013 at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York. The $600,000 1 1/8 mile dirt race is for three-year-old males and is certainly drawing in a few horses with household names!

We are over a week away from the 2013 Jim Dandy Stakes and people at Miami Beach’s trendy Big Pink are already interrupting my “Hollywood” breakfast asking me who I think will win! Everyone is excited to see a few 2013 Triple Crown picks return to the track for redemption.

It’s really too early to tell but Palace Malice is a said to be pointed towards the Jim Dandy Stakes. Palace Malice reminds me of a spastic little puppy dog that matures into a confident, obedient, powerhouse of a pet who will do what’s asked of him regardless of the consequences. I’ve seen with my own two eyes Palace Malice grow from the colt that placed 12th in the 2013 Kentucky Derby to the 1st place champion in the Belmont Stakes. Palace Malice is an incredibly fast horse, but I’m concerned with the longevity of his career. Inside sources say trainer Todd Pletcher exercises Palace Malice often because he’s “just that kind of horse.”

Be sure to check back for more information on the 2013 Jim Dandy Stakes.
