What to wear to Oaklawn on Rebel Stakes day…
No matter what you decide to do at Oaklawn, try wearing one of spring’s most on-trend colors, Kelly green. You can even recycle your Kelly green look a few days later on St. Patty’s Day. Green is always a favorite color of spring since it tends to make people think of life and things blooming, but there is something particularly statement-worthy about a rich and vibrant Kelly green.
Try a fit and flare structured Kelly green dress (pictured below) which is universally flattering for the 2015 Rebel Stakes at Oaklawn Park. The detail in the back is especially unique and attention-grabbing. If you are more feminine, try a lace Kelly green dress since lace is also right on trend for Spring 2015.
If green all over is too much for you, try pops of it instead. Try a green skirt or even just a bit of color with Kelly green shoes or a Kelly green topper.
You will be on trend and ready for a fun day at the races at Oaklawn Park in your Kelly Green attire, and you’ll even be prepared for any St. Patrick’s Day festivities to come.
