Next Up! Jerome Stakes 2015 at Aqueduct: The 145th running of the GII Jerome Stakes is set to take place at the Aqueduct Racetrack on Saturday, January 3, 2015. The race is one-mile and 70 yards for 3-year-olds on a dirt track with a $200,000 purse. The winner of the 2015 Jerome Stakes will take home ten Kentucky Derby Trail points.

About Aqueduct on Jerome Stakes Day…

General parking in the Conduit Lot at Aqueduct is $3 per day and preferred parking is in the Clubhouse Lot at $7 per day. Valet parking is also available at the Casino entrance for $20 on the weekends. The parking lot gates open at 8:00 am. Admission is free to the racetrack and admission gates open at 11:00 am. There are ATM’s located in the clubhouse for betting convenience. Also, Aqueduct provides binocular rentals on the 1st floor of the Clubhouse at the Customer Service Center.

Besides the exciting stakes race, Aqueduct has plenty to offer. Patrons can enjoy the casino on the grounds after the race, or enjoy one of Aqueducts dining options. The Equestris Restaurant is an upscale dining experience located on the 3rd floor of the Aqueduct Clubhouse and it features tiered seating so diners can view the finish line. The famous buffet is $29.95 per person on the weekends and $17.99 for children 3-12 years-old. There is a neat casual dress code and the restaurant opens at 11:30 am. For more low key options try the Triple Crown Café located on the 1st floor of the Clubhouse with quick service menu items like pizza and hamburgers. The Skills Sports Bar is also located on the 1st floor with TVs showing the races and a full service bar. Also try the Winner’s Circle Coffee Shop on the 3rd floor of the Clubhouse which serves quick snacks like bagels and sandwiches and pastries.
