Hip 2096 – Weanling Filly – This filly is apart of the first crop of Preakness and Met Mile winner Shackleford. The filly has a wonderful distaff line. Her dam, Three Degrees Mon, by Maria’s Mon, is a half sister to German group 1 winning mare Penelopa. The cross over the speed geared pedigree of Shackleford over the more stamina based Maria’s Mon sire line should work well for this filly.

Hip 2101 – Weanling Colt – This colt is apart of the first crop of Shackleford as well. This colt is out of the Tiznow mare Tizmeanttobe. Needless to say, this colt is going to be huge when he matures. The dam is a half sibling to Kings Bishop (G1) winner Capo Bastone. This colt should mature later and love two turns on the dirt.

Hip 2252 – Back Alley Boss, Weanling Colt – This Street Boss colt could turn some heads, as Street Boss has had some good colts lately, such as Danza, Capo Bastone, and impressive maiden winner Holy Boss. This colt is the first foal for Emily Carr, by Purge. As the distaff line goes on, the third dam, Cappucino Bay, produced multiple graded stakes winner and prominent sire, Medaglia d’Oro. Back Alley Boss should have some stamina, despite his sprinter sire.

Hip 2458 – Snicker Belle – Snicker Belle is a young mare by the expensive Distorted Humor. She has produced a 2013 Summer Bird colt and 2014 Paddy O’Prado filly. She is back in foal this year to hot young sire, Super Saver, on a June 17 cover. Snicker Belle is also out of a half sister to multiple graded stakes winner Affirmed Success. She should bring an honest price.

Hip 2690 – Jon’s Lady – This Johannesburg mare has an “old time” pedigree. Out of an A.P. Indy mare, the mare has a fantastic, proven distaff line. She is a half sibling to long winded Worth Repeating (Giant’s Causeway). Her second dam, Macoumba is the granddam to exciting new sire Temple City. She is a young mare, having only producer her first foal this year when she dropped a Drosselmeyer colt. She is back in foal to one of the hottest young sires on the market, Pioneerof the Nile, on a May 18th cover.

Hip 2691 – Weanling Colt – This colt is from the second crop of Drosselmeyer. This colt is the first foal of Johannesburg mare Jon’s Lady (Hip 2960). This colt is out of a half sister to Worth Repeating, and is from the distaff line that produced young sire Temple City.

Hip 2745 – Weanling Filly – This filly is from the fourth crop of Belmont Stakes runner-up Dunkirk, who was recently sold to overseas interests. This filly is out of the Storm Cat mare Mycatcandance. This distaff line has produced multiple graded stakes winners, including Consolidator, San Felipe Stakes (G2) winner. This chestnut filly should get some solid attention.

Hip 2824 – Sinful – This Touch Gold mare is a full sister to Stephen Foster (G1) winner, Seek Gold. Her dam, Aly’s Adita, is a half sister to Davona Dale, winner of the Filly Triple Crown. Aly’s Adita has 12 registered foals, 10 to race, and 8 winners. Sinful had six foals, one stakes placed. Sinful is offered here, on a May 24th cover, by Midnight Lute. The mare should lend stamina to the foal while Midnight Lute offers speed.
