What To Wear To Holy Bull Stakes at Gulfstream Park

Briana Mott of Fashion At The Races dresses Trixie Hammer of Lady and The Track for the 2013 Holy Bull Stakes at Gulfstream Park

Briana Mott of Fashion At The Races chose this light sundress from Modcloth.com for Trixie Hammer of Lady and The Track to wear to the 2013 Holy Bull Stakes at Gulfstream Park.

The Holy Bull Stakes takes place at Gulfstream Park tomorrow. A field of ten leading contenders are set for the Derby prep race at 5:05 PM EST. If you’re wondering what to wear, Fashion At The Races has the answers! Style Expert Briana Mott from Fashion At The Races picked out another dress for Trixie to wear to the track!

Briana Mott stated;

“For this Saturday’s Holy Bull stakes down in Florida, Trixie has picked out a very pretty black with white piping summer dress with a brown belt from ModCloth.com.  With this lighter, summery type dress, we think a bigger brim hat would match perfectly.  A white hat with black detail would best compliment this piece as it will lighten up the outfit and take it away from the all black feel.”

Briana added;

“Since the “no white after labor day” rule is ancient, wear a white pair of shoes! Trixie loves her vintage and this will tie in the vintage feel as well as polish off the look.  As for a bag, you can either go with a pop of color like a lipstick red or stick with a nice brown leather piece to compliment the belt.  A shoulder bag will keep the look simple and give it the “I’m not trying so hard but I still look fabulous” look.”

As far as adding accessories to the vintage track look Briana said;

“Keep the accessories simple, just a silver charm necklace or bracelet and a pair of pearl earrings. If you want to add something extra, add a great cocktail ring. Finally, keep that hair down and soft waves. As with the Eclipse Awards theme, this IS Miami Chic!”
