– Sweet Potato: 1 kg
– Liquid Cream: 25 cl
– Grated Nutmeg: 4 pinches
– Star Anise: 2 pieces
– Cinnamon Stick: 1
– Salt: to taste
– Pepper: to taste
Instructions
1. Start by heating the cream in a saucepan along with the star anise and cinnamon stick. Once heated, remove from the heat, cover, and let it infuse for 30 minutes.
2. In the meantime, boil the sweet potatoes, which have been halved, for about 30 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. After boiling, drain them and return them to the pot.
3. Mash the sweet potatoes and add the infused and strained cream. Mix thoroughly.
4. Season the mixture to taste and sprinkle with grated nutmeg. Serve hot and enjoy!
