On July 10, Sophie of Edinburgh began her three-day state visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina. On the first day of her trip, she showcased an accessory that highlighted French craftsmanship.

King Charles III sent his sister-in-law to Sarajevo to mark the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre. President Željko Komšić welcomed the wife of Edward, who appeared in a stylish, unadorned outfit. She wore a Prada polka dot shirt dress that cleverly accentuated her waist. The dress’s contrasting collar and cuffs matched the beige clutch chosen by Sophie of Edinburgh, specifically the “Taormina” model from the Sophie Habsburg brand, which she particularly favors. Finally, her look was completed with Giulia Barela’s golden “Poetica” earrings.

After being received at the Presidential Building, the Duchess of Edinburgh visited the old city of Sarajevo, making a subtle fashion change. To walk through the cobblestone streets, the mother of two smartly switched her high heels for more comfortable shoes. For this, she chose iconic French footwear: espadrilles.

Traditionally made in the Basque Country, espadrilles are perfect summer shoes and are essential in any wardrobe.

Sophie of Edinburgh opted for the “Valencia” platform model from the Toms brand in a nude color. At 60 years old, the British royal successfully transformed her elegant outfit into a very stylish daytime look.
