From head-to-toe pink ensembles and sharply tailored blazers to yellow satin shirts and leather jackets, Caroline Roux shines on television! Leading the debate and news magazine “C dans l’air” and the political segment “L’Événement” on France 2, the host always presents herself in impeccable fashion. This is largely due to her keen eye for selecting outfits.

Caroline appears on screen daily in outfits carefully curated by her personal stylist, Emmanuelle Sassiat. She introduced Emmanuelle a few months ago in a video that garnered thousands of views. “I often receive messages about my outfits… So, I’m revealing the person who has been crafting my looks for 15 years, my stylist Manu!” the public service journalist captioned the post. Being under constant scrutiny by viewers, Caroline Roux ensures she is always dressed to the nines. For “L’événement” the directive for her outfits is “statutory,” while she opts for more relaxed attire on “C dans l’air.”

For an outfit to be successful, there’s a specific rule to follow: “It shouldn’t be a topic of discussion but at the same time, she must feel truly comfortable in what she’s wearing. It shouldn’t be too tight or too outlandish. We don’t go in that direction,” explains the stylist. To which Caroline Roux humorously replies, “Folk is her issue! Every time she tries to get me to wear something folk, I say no Manu!” Caroline Roux’s meticulousness in her wardrobe choices stems from her awareness that viewers are quick to critique.

“If I wore the same thing on Télématin and C dans l’air, people would call in and complain, ‘Who does she think she is? She could at least change,'” the 52-year-old journalist laments. It’s challenging to please everyone when you’re Caroline Roux!
