The heir to the Belgian throne celebrated her 24th birthday on October 25. As per tradition, a fresh portrait was unveiled. Taken by Bas Bogaerts, a photographer who frequently collaborates with the royal family, the daughter of Philippe and Mathilde of Belgium was featured. The portrait, captured in a chiaroscuro style, shows her dressed in a beautiful royal blue long dress by Diane von Furstenberg. The “Apollo” model dress features subtly dropped shoulders, ruching at the side, and a slit that runs up the left leg. Made from matte jersey, the dress boasts a flattering design that combines simplicity with sophistication. This wasn’t the first appearance of Elisabeth in this outfit; she had previously worn it on December 20, 2022, at the annual Christmas concert attended by the Belgian royal family.

For her birthday ensemble, the eldest of four siblings chose a majestic accessory. While her shoes are not visible in the portrait, her jewelry, particularly her earrings, was prominently displayed.
The young woman, who is pursuing a master’s in public policy, appears to have delved into her mother’s wardrobe as she was adorned with diamond earrings owned by Mathilde of Belgium. Her look was completed with wavy hair, blue eyeshadow, and peach blush, adding to the exquisite appearance of the future Queen of Belgium.
